Organised by the Alumni Relations Office of MAHE Bengaluru Campus, MASH 2026 was held under the theme “Back in Play. Instantly.” The event witnessed the participation of alumni, their families, faculty members and staff for a day dedicated to sports, networking and shared memories. Beyond being a sports festival, the event highlighted the importance of alumni as lifelong members of the MAHE community whose achievements and continued engagement contribute to the institution and society. The celebration reflected the Bengaluru campus' commitment to strengthening long-term alumni relationships and promoting meaningful engagement beyond graduation.
A vibrant gathering of MAHE alumni, students, faculty members and staff marked the occasion, promoting community engagement, healthy living and the institution’s lifelong alumni network. MASH 2026 also emerged as an active platform for networking and community building, allowing alumni from diverse professional backgrounds to exchange ideas, strengthen connections and explore collaborative opportunities.
Prof. (Dr.) Madhu Veeraraghavan, Pro Vice-Chancellor, MAHE Bengaluru, emphasised the importance of alumni in shaping the institution’s legacy. He said alumni represent the impact of education beyond classrooms and serve as ambassadors of institutional values. According to him, their achievements and continued engagement enrich the learning ecosystem through mentorship, collaboration and knowledge sharing. He stated that MASH 2026 celebrates these lasting relationships and reflects the institution’s commitment to maintaining a strong and connected alumni community. He added that it was encouraging to see graduates return, reconnect and continue contributing to the vibrant MAHE ecosystem.
The event featured cultural performances, entertainment segments and family-oriented activities, creating a festive atmosphere for participants. Alumni also received opportunities to reconnect with faculty members and revisit their alma mater, creating a nostalgic experience that celebrated the enduring relationship between MAHE and its graduates.
As MAHE expands its alumni engagement initiatives, MASH 2026 highlighted the growing role of the Bengaluru Campus as a vibrant centre for alumni interactions, bringing the essence of the Manipal experience closer to graduates. More than a sports and health festival, the event celebrated the achievements of the MAHE alumni community and recognised their contributions to society and industry. The programme reaffirmed that despite moving across cities and professional careers, alumni remain connected by the spirit of Manipal, which continues to inspire, unite and grow across generations.
